Hootie and I were invited to perform a dressage demonstration at the Sewickley Heights History Center's Riding & Driving Party on Saturday. This was my second year participating in the event and once again I had a blast. Hootie likes to perform so it's fun to be able to show him off. Even at 22 years old he's still got it. He was a flying change machine! We played around with Third and Fourth level work and then for kicks I decided to pop him over one of the fences that was set up on the grass for the jumping demo later. Hootie nailed his distance and went over the fence like butter. It was fun to be able to show that dressage really is the foundation for everything.
